Saigon Central Post Office, of the top places to visit in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. It is famous for its bright color facade, looping arches and marble floors that are intricately designed. It is also famous for its antiquated telephone boxes. Part of the walls, you’ll see maps of the region, one of them showing the telegraph lines that crisscross Vietnam and Cambodia and the other displaying a map of the Saigon region in 1892.

The Saigon Cathedral of Notre Dame, is a reminder of French’s religious influence in the country. Very popular and one of the top places to visit in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. It is one of the few strongholds of Catholicisms in the region that is dominantly Buddhist. It features neo-Romanesque features with facade in all- red bricks that are imported all the way from Marseille. It is also famous for its stained glass windows, two bell towers containing six bronze bells that still ring to this day.
In front of the cathedral is a statue of Virgin Mary adorned with beautiful garden of colorful flowers. Doves frequents this area that makes it a perfect spot to take pictures.
